Review by: YarntanglerBest seasoning for almost anything.Like everyone else, I add the tomato flakes to soups, stews and even sandwich spread or dip. But the best thing I did was by accident. I put a huge pork roast into my crock pot and simply covered the top of it with the flakes. Got called away and had to leave before adding anything else to my roast, even any liquid. Came home to the most delicious roast ever. I split it into 3 meals; nice slices for dinner that, a small package in the freezer for a future soup, and a large piece (also in freezer). Later I added your red and green pepper flakes, dried onions and a bit of vegetable broth. simmered it all day. With the addition of a bag of dinner rolls it became the best pulled pork for a church supper. Ordering more today can't start the winter without them.

Review by: elaineFantastic!I've tried FD tomato dices, and they're pale and bland. So I decided to try out these dehydrated tomato flakes. Boy, am I glad I did! These have a rich aroma as soon as you open he bag. The dark red color is lovely. And when they rehydrate, they don't disappoint. These are great thrown into any soup mix or added to most anything where I want tomato flavor to sing through. Easy to use, tasty, colorful -- what more can you want?

Review by: blWOWWhat a flavor punch- 1-2 BAM tomato flavor explodes in your recipe. The only reason there isn't a 5th star is there seems to be an extremely slight aftertaste of salt/sulfur. Perhaps they were processed with preservatives- metabisulpahtes chemicals.
******North Bay Trading Co customer service: Please be assured these tomato flakes have nothing added. There is some naturally occurring sodium in tomatoes that could explain this customer's concern.*****(Posted on
