Review by: Eliz~Too fineWe bought the 40 lb bulk. Our first time buying it here. At another company it is more compact/dense powder. This is so fine it floats in the air and covered everything as we poured it into storage buckets. We could not "see" to the bottom of the bucket when pouring. We had to change our clothes, it was on my glasses!!
Other than that, if you don't need to re-package 40 pounds like we did, it is delicious, convenient and a must to have. Altho measuring the fine powder is a little harder. When I measure a 1 cup, I have to let it settle several times so I don't end up with "less".(Posted on

Review by: JoanneFor pasta makingI add this to my homemade pasta by adding to my flour blends, makes "tomato pasta," gives a nice red color. I make cold Caprese Salad with the finished product; use the tomato pasta, cubes of mozzarella, and fresh basil from the garden and add a vinaigrette. I add it to bread doughs too.

Review by: MtrverTomato Powder "rocks"!!!!!LOL Ok, I sound like a broken record, but it really is great to have on hand! I sprinkled some into my meatloaf last week, I used it as the base for my "dried" cabbage soup a couple of weeks ago and just couldn't believe how fortunate I was to have found yet another great product from you! This item is another true keeper for the single person to have on hand! No cans of the wrong kind of sauce on hand, no extra trips to the market before I can make up a dish...Just reach into the cupboard and pull out my dried goodies and cook!!!!!

Review by: PHDPossibly my favorite dried productConvenient, versatile, tasty. Use for juice, tomato paste, tomato sauce, soups, stews, pizza sauce. Yum. "Keep your powder dry" or it can clump, but you can still break off bits and dissolve it in liquid and it still tastes like fresh tomatoes.
