Review by: LeslieI can have all the broccoli I love!I actually prefer frozen broccoli to fresh, but it takes up space in the freezer and usually has lots of stems unless you're willing to pay $$. I add about 1-1/2 C of these dried florets to 1 C of boiling water, remove from heat, and serve hot a few minutes later. Easily makes two servings unless you want it all to yourself. Tip: try serving it with a squirt of flaxseed oil. Adds a buttery, slightly nutty taste. Remember to shake the bottle first. P.S. My hair loves this broccoli too.

Review by: iamstringsWonderful flavorThese are great broccoli florets. Packaged well to protect from crushing. Tender young broccoli heads when rehydrated. From a 1.25 lb. bag, I re-packaged into five 1/2 gallon glass jars with 1 qt of small pieces left at the bottom of the bag.

Review by: Perfect Snack!Love these!Beautiful Florets - delicious & crunchy. Best healthy snack available! Be prepared for some breakage, and quite a bit of powder - about 20% in powder, which you can add to soups, casseroles, smoothies, etc. I will purchase again!

Review by: SunnyPerfect fro snackingLove them so so much! Used to pay $$ in healthy food store on similar products with the seasoning I hate. This is so much better without all the seasoning. Sad to see it’s out of stock and have to wait a few months to reorder. Only problem is they taste so sweet which made me even think they are sweetened. I do believe it’s natural sweet like that. As a low-carb dieter, I think I find another natural product to satisfy my sweet tooth.

Review by: Sally SI get my broccoli again!Due to my living arrangements, fresh or frozen fruits/veggies have been pretty much non existent for a long time. This was the first thing I tried from my recent (first time) order, and lets just say, I am back for more of everything! They cook up perfectly with just a little hot water from my water dispenser, and I am in love. I just wish there was a size half way between the 2 oz and 1.25 lb size. The 1.25 price is just too much for me but the 2 oz is too little product lol.

Review by: Florida MamaMy kid loves them!We were buying dried broccoli from our local health food store but my daughter was eating a 2 oz bag each day—and they were $5 per bag! I don’t want to squash my daughters love of broccoli so I had to find a bulk solution. These are SO MUCH BETTER than what my health food store had. They are SUPER crunchy and don’t have a weird dust on them that the other brand had. These are just 100% broccoli. Nothing else added. A moms dream!! My only wish is that the prices were a bit bigger but I have been using the small flecks for soups, quiches and salads. Seriously, KUDOS! You’ve got a customer for life!

Review by: PeteExcellent1. Unlike other brands of package florets, these have almost zero stem pieces. Nearly 100% florets.
2. The flavor is as good, maybe even better than frozen florets.
3. The texture is good. For my taste, these florets require very little cooking... just enough to get them hot.
Broccoli is one of my favorite veggies, and these are the best.(Posted on

Review by: BatbratAmazing!Let me start by saying that while I like broccoli, I find raw or fresh cooked broccoli to have a cabbage-y aroma and aftertaste that can sometimes be unappealing, especially when used in smoothies, etc.
Magically, these freeze-dried florets have all the delicious fresh flavor of broccoli, but completely without that cabbage-y aroma and aftertaste! They're absolutely delicious! Delicately crispy and sweet, I eat them by the handful right out of the bag. They're amazing sprinkled on top of dishes and salads like croutons and they do not alter the flavor of my smoothies!
Amazing! My new favorite from North Bay Trading!(Posted on

Review by: wombatOutstanding quality & flavor!I've ordered both freeze-dried and air-dried broccoli in the past. At most places, if you order "florets", what you really get is a mix of stems (lots of them) and some florets. Not so with these! They were ALL florets, and not mashed up or powdered either. Care does need to be taken in rehydrating them, but the color and flavor is just like fresh. I will be definitely ordering more! Very impressed with these.

Review by: Backpacking ChefPleasantly SurprisedI was skeptical of freeze dried broccoli. I was worried the flavor would be bland, the broccoli pale, and the florettes more crumbles than bites.
Not so, with this broccoli. Although some breakage will occur through shipping and general handling, most florettes are whole and gorgeous. They taste amazing. I love adding these to a quick mac and cheese meal or a ramen.
A word to the wise: Do not over cook these. I add them to a dish at the last minute- give it a quick stir, turn off the heat, and cover for 2-3 minutes. They'll soak up the water and steam, and come out perfect! Less stirring, the better, as they do break easily.(Posted on

Review by: LSE Lady5-stars not enough!I recently finished a can of a competitor's FD broccoli that cannot even be compared with this product. NBT's FD broccoli florets are fresh-tasting, sweet, and even lovely to LOOK at! NBT set a high standard on this product.

Review by: LizzieRFresh!Tastes like fresh from the garden, using it in soups, omelettes, and casseroles. I've thrown a lot of fresh broccoli out that spoiled in the fridge before I got to it. This is awesome!

Review by: ElaineE is for excellent! In the past I've gotten the other broccoli pieces available on NBTC, and they were okay. These florets, however, are amazing! Bursting with the same flavor as their fresh counterpart. I've used them in various recipes; they rehydrate very well. (If you time it properly, they'll even retain a bit of snap when steamed!)
These are definitely my go-to choice for broccoli from now on. Good job, North Bay!(Posted on
