Review by: MaddyI'm in LOVE!Why bother to take apart a pomegranate and try to remove all those seeds when it always creates such a total mess. It's so easy to grab a handful of these sweet little crunchy seeds right out of the bag and always have them available when you want them... I find them sweeter and far more delicious than most fresh seeds.. I am seriously addicted and learned they provide so many awesome health benefits. The taste is indescribable!

Review by: MayaGreat flavorTastes wonderful, and the seeds are easier to chew (more crunchy) than fresh pomegranate making these more palatable and a lot less work to eat. Love them!

Review by: MelodyGreat snackI thought the pomegranate was great - and different! - snack with an interesting crunch. When I got to the bottom of the bag I ground the last few tablespoons in my coffee grinder and added them to cottage cheese (yummy!) and ice cream (even better!).

Review by: lhooviniokaythe pomegrenate taste was pretty good. i like them thrown in my granola, or yogurt. because the moisture has been sucked out, i'd say there's more "pit" than "fruit". an okay substitute for fresh.

Review by: M.S.Excellent Taste and TextureI was initially hesitant about purchasing the freeze dried pomegranate because when I eat fresh arils, I often find the tiny seed inside each aril to be overly "peppery" to the point of bitterness. But I have read so much research recently about the health benefits of pomegranate, that I decided to give these a try. I’m glad I did. The flavor of the arils is a perfect balance of sweet and tart; they are very addictive. And there is no "peppery" bitterness from the tiny seed inside. But the best part is the texture: the arils have a very satisfying crunch, even more so than the North Bay blueberries and strawberries. Other freeze dried fruits I have tried tend to have the texture of a well-done piece of popcorn (i.e. somewhat chewy). But these arils have a crunchy exterior (like bran flakes) and the tiny seed inside provides and even harder crunch (like a baked poppy seed). Overall, I am very satisfied with these and I will probably order more. I just wish the price was a bit lower.

Easy to Prepare
- Use dry as a healthy snack, as an addition to trail mixes, to make drinks, and as a crunchy topping for cereals and desserts.
- For most other applications, hydrate by soaking for 5 minutes in a generous amount of cold or hot water (hot water works slightly better). Then drain.
Yield — 1 oz equals about 1/2 cup dry with less than 4% moisture content.
Rehydration Ratio — 1 lb of freeze dried pomegranate arils, once rehydrated, equals approximately 5 lbs of fresh prepared pomegranate arils.
Storage — Best if used within 24 months of purchase. Store tightly sealed while minimizing exposure to high humidity and heat.
