Review by: DebAwesome flavorThese are the best freeze dried raspberries I’ve ever had. The flavor is intense and not weak like the “sweetened” snack variety I get in stores.

Review by: MalcolmTastyI like various freeze dried berries, and I think the raspberries are the best. Great with cereal & milk. They taste good dry but are a bit powdery.

Review by: MaryExcellent for bakingI ordered this product in order to make "Raspberry and Rose Sables", a cookie recipe I saw in the New York Times. The freeze-dried fruit is bursting with flavor, and the cookies were sensational. I will order from NBT again.

Review by: Susanintensely flavored whipped creamThese have an intense raspberry flavor, and are not sweetened. I was contemplating using them for cooking, and tried a few things. If you want to rehydrate them, don't throw them in a bowl of liquid; they swell and become watery and tasteless. Just spray them lightly a bit at a time. However, I have a new use for them. I decided it would be cool to have raspberry whipped cream on some little chocolate tarts I was making. I ground the berries into powder in my food processor. I whipped the cream, added a bit of powdered sugar, then the raspberry powder. OMG! It was not only beautifully colored (I left the bigger bits in, but you could sift them out if you wanted) but had such intense flavor! Pure raspberry! You could never achieve this with fresh fruit or artificial flavorings. It was a big hit with everyone who tried them. The whipped cream was also very stable because of the hydroscopic nature of the dried fruit. Now I'll just order the berry powders for this application.

Review by: Lisa BTaste great in oatmealMy recipe for instant oatmeal
Use a wide mouth 1/2 pint canning jar
1/4 Cup 5 minute oatmeal, organic optional
1/2 tsp brown sugar, or organic sugar (optional)
1/2 tsp ground flax seeds or chia seeds
4-5 North Bay Trading Freeze Dried Raspberries
6-8 North Bay Trading Freeze Dried Blueberries
Near boiling water, fill 1/4 inch above level of oats and fruit. Let stand for 5 minutes with lid on. Take lid off, microwave for 30 seconds. Stir
This beats packaged instant oatmeal any day.
Substitute raspberries and blueberries with 4-5 North Bay Trading Freeze Dried Blackberries. It is an instant healthy cobbler desert.(Posted on

Review by: StitchwitchWonderful concentrated flavor! With summer here, I created a simple syrup for Mojito's with these freeze dried raspberries. Great concentrated flavor gave it the pop it needed. When simmering syrup I added 1 cup fresh mint leaves, 1/2 cup of FD Raspberries and 1/2 vanilla bean. Cool, strain and mix...awesome!

Easy to Prepare
- Use dry as a healthy snack, as an addition to trail mixes, and as a crunchy topping for cereals and desserts.
- For most other applications, hydrate by soaking for 5 minutes in a generous amount of cold or hot water (hot water works slightly better). Then drain.
Yield — 1 oz equals about 1 1/2 cup dry with very low moisture content.
Rehydration Ratio — 1 lb of freeze dried whole raspberries, once rehydrated, equals approximately 7 lbs of fresh prepared raspberries.
Storage — Best if used within 24 months of purchase. Store tightly sealed while minimizing exposure to high humidity and heat.
